There’s finally no pain caused by the hard plastic shell, they don’t fall out or even try to. I wish the AirPods 3 fit me better, but the trade-off in higher quality isnt worth constantly having to readjust them to keep from falling out of my ears. Ive had the gen 2 AirPods for awhile now and they fit me perfectly. After several days I realized they really aren’t going anywhere and there’s no practical need to readjust them, other than for OCD/piece of mind reasons.Īnswering my own questions: AirPods Pro fit differently but better and are more comfortable. The quality of the AirPods 3 is amazing and I really enjoy the spacial audio features, but they keep falling out of my ears.

They don’t fall out after walking, chewing or shaking my head vigorously, I can jump and land on my heels without loosening the seal. Extemely comfortable, I hardly feel they’re inside (no exaggeration). Bought AirPod pros as replacement, but now I will be returning them and getting another pair of AirPods 2. I use the large tips in both ears (for my left ear: I figured that the bigger tip the better seal). 1 so I washed my AirPods 2 in the washer, and ofcourse the stopped working. The mediums are good for my left ear, but my right ear pushes them slightly out, breaking the left/right sound balance and bass. Flip up the silicone flap and youll see a small letter indicating the size tip you. The S seem to provide the worst passive noise reduction and are the easiest to pull out of my ear. But theres a really easy way to check to make sure youre re-attaching the tips of your AirPods Pro properly. My highly generic ears accept all the tip sizes - the buds don’t fall out. The tips are unbelievably soft and malleable.
Airpods pro falling out of ears update#
Do the Pros fit similarly? Are they more comfortable?ĮDIT: In case anyone finds this post in the future, here’s an update after 2.5 weeks of owning my own pair. There are a number of ways you can stabilize your AirPods in your ears while you are running so that theres less chance of them falling out. For some people, this may help wedge the AirPods more tightly in your ear. Instead of putting them in your ears with the stems facing down, as usual, you can try turning them sideways or even upside down. A quick and easy way to keep your AirPods from falling out is to just give them a little twist. I don't have that problem at all with regular wired EarPods and I'm in search for impressions from people who do have a secure fit with the 'old' design. Wear your AirPods sideways or upside down. If you dont see the Ear Tip Fit Test, make sure that you have iOS or iPadOS 13.2 or later. Tap the More Info button next to your AirPods in the list of devices.

The majority of comments on the new AirPods Pro is people praising how the Pros don't fall out of their ears anymore. With your AirPods Pro in your ears and connected to your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
